Senior, Wyatt Alexander, son of Brett and Jennifer Alexander is awarded a $1,000 scholarship to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This is a young man who at the early age of 4 learned what it means to put the pedal to the metal and turn left. Since then he’s been on the fast track for a career in motorsports. He admits that becoming a top-notch NASCAR driver is very difficult, but has his sights set on changing the sport from the inside out by developing innovative designs such as the flying brick, bump stops, splitters, and the HANS device to name a few. On behalf of the association, congratulation and all the best #96.
