The Ellsworth High School
Alumni Association

The Ellsworth High School Alumni Association is thrilled to announce that its Endowment Fund has surpassed one million dollars!

Through the generous contributions of our dedicated alumni, community, and diligent work of the Investment committee the fund has steadily grown, enabling the lasting impact on the educational opportunities available to graduates of Ellsworth High School. The Endowment Fund was established in 1999 with the purpose of generating income allowing the Alumni Association to provide scholarships to Ellsworth High School graduates and postgraduates.

Reaching the one-million-dollar milestone is a testament to the unwavering commitment and generosity of our community. “The Investment Committee has done a dedicated, experienced collaboration with the guidance of the Camden National Wealth Management over the 25 years to bring this fund to this special achievement. Their work continues” – Thelma Beal Class of ’67 &Vice President of the Ellsworth High School Alumni Association.

The success of the Endowment Fund showcases the collective dedication and belief in the power of education to transform lives. The Ellsworth High School Alumni Association wishes to extend sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the Endowment Fund. Your generosity has provided financial assistance to deserving students. It has also created a legacy of giving back and empowering future generations.

As we celebrate this significant milestone, we are inspired to continue our efforts to expand the impact of the Endowment Fund. Since 1999 The Ellsworth High School Alumni Association has awarded $330,000 in scholarships to EHS Alumni.  In 2024 we will be able to award $30,000 in scholarships!
