The Paul and Patricia Firlotte Scholarship in the amount of $2,000, is awarded to Brayden Beardsley, son of Andrew and Andrea Beardsley.

Brayden is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Trinity College.

This young man hit the doors running when he entered Ellsworth High School and hasn’t slowed down yet. From building a ping-pong table in the campus dorm to hopes of designing cars, bio digesters, and recycling facilities that help battle climate change, there’s no stopping Brayden.

Brayden your successes so far embody the spirit of Gandhi’s quote you included in your application, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, Learn as if you were to live forever.” We are proud to be a part of your future with this scholarship.  On behalf of the Association, congratulations and we wish you continued success!
