The Ellsworth High School
Alumni Association

This was a milestone year as we celebrated our 20th year of awarding scholarships. Since the 1999-2000 scholarship year, we have awarded 173 scholarships totaling $231,000.
During our first year we awarded $3,000 to 5 students; Laurelin Sittler, Mike Keep, Jason Anderson, Travis Frost, and Amiee LeClerc. All awardees stayed in Maine and are currently serving as educators, a mechanical engineer, law enforcement patrol officer, and a nurse.

There are many more since that first year who are using their education in our town and across the country and around the world from international political work, educational support leaders to educators in refugee camps in Africa, to providing critical medical care in the Doctors Without Borders program.

Your donations to the endowment and support of the association has enable us to help our alumni pursue their educational goals and in turn have made a significant impact on our local communities and countries around the world. It is truly rewarding to see our alumni achieve their goals and know we have had a small part in their journey.
